ISO 45001

ISO 45001 is one of the few international standards that allows organisations to have their OH&S management system assessed and certified against a universal framework.

How does ISO 45001 benefit your organisation?

ISO 45001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems, intended to keep personnel safe and well. ISO 45001 equips organisations to continually improve their OH&S performance.

ISO 45001 can fit into other health and safety programs, and help fulfil certain legal requirements. It benefits every organisation, regardless of its size or the nature of its work, whether smaller and lower-risk, or larger and higher-risk.

While ISO 45001 requires that OH&S risks are addressed and controlled, it also takes a risk-based approach to the OH&S management system itself. ISO 45001 follows the same high-level approach of other ISO management standards, such as ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environment).
